Care Instructions

Our Moroccan poufs are handcrafted from vintage carpets, primarily made of wool, a natural material known for its durability and beauty. To ensure your pouf lasts for years to come, follow these simple care guidelines:

1. Regular Cleaning

Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to clean your pouf regularly. This will remove dust and debris while preserving the texture of the wool.

For small spills, blot the area immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing to prevent the stain from spreading. Use cold water and mild detergent if necessary.

2. Deep Cleaning

Since our poufs are made from vintage carpets, we recommend professional dry cleaning for deep cleaning. Avoid machine washing as it may damage the wool fibers.

3. Preventing Wear

To ensure even wear, rotate your pouf every few months, especially if it's used frequently as seating.

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause the colors to fade over time. Keep your pouf in shaded areas or use curtains to block strong sunlight.

4. Handling Stains

Never use bleach or harsh chemicals as they can damage the wool. Opt for gentle, natural cleaning solutions instead.

For tough stains, consult a professional cleaner who specializes in wool fabrics.

5. Storage

If you need to store your pouf, make sure it’s clean and stored in a breathable bag in a cool, dry environment. Avoid storing in plastic, as this can trap moisture and cause mold.

6. Maintaining Shape

Occasionally fluff your pouf to help it maintain its shape and distribute the stuffing evenly.
